Staff at Franklin House went the extra mile to ensure that their National Care Home Open Day tea party was a stylish affair.
When family and friends visited Franklin House on what turned out to be a most beautiful summer’s day on Friday 20th June, they were greeted by staff wearing their colourful traditional costumes, much to the delight of all! Guests relaxed in the sun listening to the soothing notes of classical violinist, Vincent Craven whist enjoying a traditional English cream tea.
The day was also shared with celebrations for resident, Mary O’Leary’s birthday, who was surrounded by her friends and family, adding to the party atmosphere.
It’s fair to say that staff pulled out all the stops to ensure that the day was filled with fun and laughter for all.
