Free advice event returns to Jubilee House

November 22nd 2017

Jubilee House is inviting the local community to a free advice-led event designed to provide support for people considering their loved one’s future care.

On Wednesday 29th November from 2pm-4pm, the team at Jubilee House will open the doors to the care home on Pound Lane for its free ‘Planning care for the future’ event.

Independent specialists, Owain Wright from Care Funding Guidance and Debbie Duggan from Baker Law, will be on hand to give local people professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for their loved one – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home.

After the event there will be a Q&A session, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Jubilee House and take a tour of the home.

Totka Zhelyazkova, home manager at Jubilee House, said:  “The advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received, and we hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise.

“We are delighted to welcome Owain and Debbie to the event, who are experts in their field and can provide guidance for those currently exploring care options. For those looking for more help and advice when caring for a loved one, our latest guide, A helping hand, is available at the home and can offer further support and guidance.”
