May 19th 2017

Perry Manor is inviting the local community to a free event offering support for people considering care for their loved one.peter-charlesworth-sj-021

On Thursday 25th May, from 1.30pm-3.30pm, the team at Perry Manor will open the doors to the care home for its free ‘Planning care for the future’ event.

Independent financial and legal specialists will be on hand to help those caring for a loved one understand the available options for funding long-term care. They will also discuss legal issues such as Power of Attorney.

After the event there will be a Q&A session where refreshments will be available, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Perry Manor and take a tour of the care home.

Perry Manor home manager, Katherine Matthews, said: “The advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received, and we hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise.

“We are delighted to have an expert in financial management joining us for the event, who can provide guidance on the financial side of planning care.”
