Residents and colleagues at Cleves Place care home are calling on the local community to join them for coffee and cake in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Cleves Place will be opening its doors as part of Macmillan’s national fundraising event, ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’, on Friday, 30th September, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Sharlene Van Tonder, home manager at Cleves Place, said: “Macmillan’s Coffee Morning is a flagship fundraising event each year and we’re really looking forward to taking part. Our head chef will be baking some delicious cakes, biscuits and sweet treats for the event and we’ll also have a charity raffle where visitors can win some great prizes. All are welcome to pop in and help us fundraise as much as we can for Macmillan.”
Cleves Place is one of six Care UK care homes taking part in the Macmillan Coffee Morning across Suffolk, all raising money for the vital work of Macmillan Cancer Support.
