Lennox House is inviting the local community to come along to a day of dancing and celebrations at its carnival-themed party.
On Saturday 24th August, from 2pm - 4.30pm, Lennox House will open its doors to local people as it transforms into a world of music and dance.
Residents and visitors are invited to dress up to embrace the theme while music from a steel drum band will bring the party to life. Throughout the day, guests will be treated to a tasty barbecue prepared by Lennox House’s chefs, as well as some rum and fruit punch.
There will be a chance for all to showcase their skills at carnival games, including limbo, and guests will also be able to escape city life and relax on the mini beach that is being specially created for the day.
Sibusisiwe Moyo, home manager at Lennox House said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the local community to join us for our exciting carnival event. Here at Lennox House, we feel it is important to build a strong relationship with the local community, and events like this are the perfect way to do that.
“The local community have always been so welcoming, so it’s brilliant to be able to give something back. With so many fun-filled activities planned, it is set to be a fantastic day and we can’t wait to see everyone enjoying the day.”
