Greville House is inviting local people to visit the home on Friday 16th June to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.
From 11am-4pm, the team at Greville House will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.
Greville House has organised an Alice in Wonderland themed summer garden party to celebrate the open day. There will be a delicious selection of food, snacks and refreshments prepared by the care home’s chefs. Plus, musical entertainment, sing-alongs and dancing throughout the day. There will also be a special visit from local politician Zac Goldsmith.
The friendly team at Greville House will also be on hand to give advice and information on the different types of care they provide.
Vivian Epie, home manager at Greville House, said: “Care Home Open Day is about connecting people and enriching the lives of residents through lasting relationships with the local community across the generations.
“We cannot wait to open our doors to the community to showcase everything Greville House has to offer and the difference care homes make to residents’ lives and their wellbeing. We have planned a fun day for all the family and a warm welcome awaits the people of Richmond.”
