Hadrian Park is inviting local people to visit the home to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.
On Saturday 21st April, from 1pm-4pm, the team at Hadrian Park will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.
To commemorate the Queen’s 92nd birthday, Hadrian Park has organised a royal-inspired party to celebrate the open day. With homemade crowns at the ready, there will be traditional afternoon tea and complimentary refreshments and local entertainment.
Marsha Tuffin, home manager at Hadrian Park, said: “At Hadrian Park we’re always looking for ways to get to know our neighbours better and build relationships with the local community. Care Home Open Day is a brilliant way of bringing generations together for a fun-filled day, showcasing all that the home has to offer.
“We look forward to welcoming the people of Billingham for what promises to be another fantastic open day.”
