Pinetum is inviting local people to visit the home on Saturday 17th June 2017 to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.
From 2pm-4pm, the team at Pinetum will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.
Pinetum has organised a country and western themed party to celebrate the open day. Visitors to the event can meet a pony, as well as enjoy tasty treats from a cake sale and take part in various competitions. Live entertainment will also be available from a local singer to get everyone in the party spirit.
Sally Cooper, home manager at Pinetum, said: “Care Home Open Day is about connecting people and enriching the lives of residents by building lasting relationships with the local community across the generations.
“We cannot wait to open our doors to the community to showcase everything Pinetum has to offer and the difference care homes make to residents’ lives and their wellbeing. We have planned a fun day for all the family and a warm welcome awaits the people of Chester.”
