Whitebourne is inviting local people to visit the home to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.
From 11am-4pm on Saturday 21st April, the team at Whitebourne will be marking the Queen’s 92nd birthday with an afternoon of live musical entertainment and fun games.
Guests will also be able to enjoy a delicious barbecue and can treat themselves at one of the cake stalls in the home’s garden.
Derek Purchese, home manager at Whitebourne, said: “Here at Whitebourne we believe that building relationships with the local community is incredibly important in enriching the lives of residents, which is why we’re excited to be throwing a royal celebration as part of Care Home Open Day this year.”
“Care Home Open Day is a brilliant way of getting to know our neighbours even better, and supporting intergenerational relationships between residents and younger guests. We have plenty of activities and entertainment on offer for all the family, so we hope that the local community will join our celebrations.”
