We celebrated the enthusiasm of the Jubilee House team recently with a thank you ceremony for all their hard work in helping residents to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in style.
As well as creating celebrations within the home, many of the team gave up their evening to take residents to a celebration in The Jack Phillips Memorial Park, where a beacon was lit as part of the national celebration.
Manager Gráinne Wokes said: “The residents had a great time dancing and listening to the brass band and they looked very glamorous as the team had helped them to get ready in red, white or blue outfits.”
Business Manager Maria Lineham was presented with a Care UK GEM award, given for outstanding contributions to the life of a home, for her hard work making the weekend special and the rest of the team received thank you certificates and chocolates.
Gráinne: “I’m so proud of my team; they always find ways to make sure the residents have a memorable time.”
