NHS Nurse Joy Danby was a patient at the Treatment Centre recently and has commended the care provided to her by the Treatment Centre team.
As someone who has worked as a Nurse in the NHS for the past 17 years, Joy Danby knows the standards of quality expected of healthcare in the UK.
However, she had never been to Southampton Treatment Centre, and after being referred there by her GP for an Endoscopic investigation, she was unaware what to expect:
“I’d never been to the Treatment Centre but was immediately impressed with the facility. I had my examination under the care of extremely friendly staff and the Consultant was excellent – he explained everything clearly throughout and gave me the opportunity to ask any questions I had.”
After surgery was recommended, Joy was booked in to return just 3 weeks later to the Centre’s Day Unit.
Joy said: “All my appointments happened very quickly. Throughout my visits I was greeted by staff who were happy to help at every opportunity. The rooms were spotless, the food was fantastic, there was a TV and I was continually offered a drink. I would like to congratulate the Treatment Centre for their outstanding care and facilities and would recommend their treatment to anyone.”
