Residents and staff celebrated a successful first year with an indoor street party, singers, entertainers, karaoke and lots of party atmosphere.
Our manager, Bernard Mawayo said: “It was a wonderful day. Our, local MP, Simon Burns described Manor Lodge as a centre of excellence during his visit.
“Hard work by the staff and volunteers enabled the residents to enjoy this special day which was marked by a huge birthday cake and daylong fun and laughter.”
And the coming year is set to be as successful as the first, with the opening of a sensory room that includes relaxation, a bubble machine and music to relax and stimulate the residents’ senses.
