Perry Manor is inviting the local community to join in with an afternoon of creative crafts on Sunday 27th August.
From 3pm-5pm, local people are invited to drop into Perry Manor to take part in a variety of craft activities from past and present, including: rag rugging, spinning wheel, bargeware crafts and butter making.
Guests will be able to purchase a selection of delicious treats, hand-crafted toys and homemade lavender bags. There will also be a summer raffle draw with prizes including: perfume, chocolates, a picnic hamper and a top-of-the-range coffee maker.
Katherine Matthews, home manager at Perry Manor, commented: “Hosting a craft event provides us with a great opportunity to invite the local community to join us for a day of family-friendly fun. There is a real buzz around the care home already, with preparations now well underway.
“This event is a great opportunity to showcase what life is like here at Perry Manor. Everyone has really pulled together to create a fantastic event and we look forward to welcoming those in the local area to join us for what promises to be a wonderful day, full of craft and artistic fun.”
