Nine Ogilvy Court residents enjoyed a photo safari to London Zoo.
They photographed their favourite animals on the field trip which aimed to help to encourage their independence.
Activity Living Co-ordinator Joanna Murca-Da Silva, who led the visit, said: ”It was a wonderful day, the weather was perfect and the residents had a wonderful time.
“We walked around a lot and they particularly enjoyed seeing the giraffes and the wild pigs. One of the residents is fascinated by pigs and so the group was very keen to see them.”
“We encourage residents to maintain as much independence as possible, using the good transport links nearby to the rest of London's tourist attractions and shopping high streets”.
Home Manager Rosalind Maxwell said: “Joanna’s excellent organisation of the day shows how we try find out residents’ interests and fit our activities to make their lives more fulfilled and enjoyable.”
