It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Snowdrop House, as the local community is invited to celebrate the festive season at its annual Christmas event.
On Friday 14th December, from 4pm - 8pm, the team will open the doors to Snowdrop House and bring festive cheer to the town.
Visitors and residents will be able to enjoy a variety of musical performances to get everyone into the festive spirit, including Ware Hand Bells, a piano recital by local pianist, John Smith, and a Christmas sing-along.
Residents and guests can also enjoy some seasonal treats including mince pies, mulled wine and hot chocolate with marshmallows.
There will also be the opportunity to meet the friendly team at Snowdrop House, as well as take a closer look at the care home.
Pat Jamieson, home manager at Snowdrop House, said: “Christmas has officially arrived here at Snowdrop House and we’re thrilled to be able to bring everyone together for an afternoon of festive fun!
“The local community is a huge part of life at Snowdrop House and the relationships we have are extremely important to us, so the invitation to share our Christmas event is a great way to say thank you for their support over the last year and spread some festive cheer.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming lots of people to the home for what promises to be an exciting afternoon of festive celebrations.”
