We celebrated St George’s day with a slap up meal of fish and chips and a good old singalong.
Staff decorated our activity room and day centre with red and white flags then acted as waitresses for the day serving residents with their fish and chips. The fish and chips were served with a choice of sides, mushy peas, curry sauce or onion rings all served with bread and butter.
The atmosphere was buzzing and residents enjoyed reminiscing about the old fish 'n' chips which were served in newspaper and how the smell brought back memories.
The annual event concluded with a pub style singalong with songs from the 1940’s which everyone enjoyed.
