The team at Davers Court are opening the doors to the care home on Saturday 12th August for its annual summer fete.
From 1pm-4pm, local people are invited to drop into the care home to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment and family-friendly fun.
There will be stalls selling crafts and gifts, as well as a tempting selection of cakes and a tasty barbecue. Entertainment will be provided by local singer Jackie Raven, who will be performing throughout the day. There will also be a tombola and raffle, and younger visitors can join in the fun with games and face painting.
Home manager at Davers Court, Wendy Harvey, said: “There is a real buzz around the care home with preparations now well underway for our summer fete. We have planned the event so that local people of all ages and abilities can enjoy the fun and games.
“At Davers Court it is important for us to build strong relationships with the local community and we hope that local people will join us for what promises to be a fantastic day.”
