Sunningdale Court delivers donation to help disadvantaged families

Sunningdale Court has donated baby clothing and equipment to help a Beverley-based charity boost its essential supplies.

Residents at Sunningdale Court called on the generosity of its community neighbours to collect clothing and baby equipment tohelp Bundles of Joy; a charity that supports babies, children and their families throughout Hull and East Yorkshire.

The special ‘Baby Shower’ event was hosted as part of the home’s commitment to creating a strong link with the local community as Linda Portlock, home manager at Sunningdale Court, explains: “Here at Sunningdale Court, we’re always looking at ways to get involved and strengthen our local community ties.

“We’re delighted that local people have been so forthcoming and generous with their donations. We’ve collected clothing, toiletries, nappies, toys, prams, cots – a whole host of essential baby equipment which will be distributed by this fantastic charity to help local families at a time when they may need it the most.”
