Station House is inviting local people to visit the home on Friday 16th June to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.
From 10.30am-3.30pm, the team at Station House will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.
Station House has organised a world cuisine party to celebrate the open day. Visitors to the fun-filled day can enjoy dishes from around the world with a multi-cultured buffet lunch, as well as morning coffee, tea and biscuits.
There will also be an opportunity to get up close to owls with Pam Graham from Stockley Farm Birds of Prey Centre and enjoy live entertainment from Musical Moments.
Sarah Evans, home manager at Station House, said: “Care Home Open Day is about connecting people and enriching the lives of residents by building lasting relationships with the local community across the generations.
“We cannot wait to open our doors to the community to showcase everything Station House has to offer and the difference care homes make to residents’ lives and their wellbeing. We have planned a fun day for all the family and a warm welcome awaits the people of Crewe.”
