It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Tor-Na-Dee, as the local community is invited to celebrate the festive season at its annual Christmas fayre.
On Sunday 2nd December, from 2pm-4pm, the team at Tor-Na-Dee will open the doors to the care home for a festive celebration.
In preparation for the event, the residents at Tor-Na-Dee will adorn the home with a Christmas tree and craft seasonal ornaments and decorations.
On the day, guests will be treated to a festive tea party, including homemade cakes, mince pies and mulled wine specially prepared by Tor-Na-Dee’s chefs, and will have the opportunity to browse an array of craft stalls to start their Christmas shopping. Visitors can also try their luck at various games, including a raffle. There will also be seasonal live entertainment from Hazel Milne to get everyone in the party spirit.
Maureen Barrett, home manager at Tor-Na-Dee, said: “Christmas has officially arrived here at Tor-Na-Dee and we’re thrilled to be able to bring everyone together for an afternoon of festive fun!
“The local community is a huge part of life at Tor-Na-Dee and the relationships we have are extremely important to us, so the invitation to share our Christmas fayre is a great way to say thank you for their support over the last year and spread some festive cheer.
“We are all looking forward to decorating the home and we hope the people of Aberdeen will join us for an afternoon of festive celebrations!”
