With a large Irish community living at Forrester Court, it was the perfect reason for residents at the home to make the most of St Patrick’s Day on Sunday 17th March.
Activities Coordinator, Edward Brunning, said: “We have around 16 Irish residents - they were keen to have a good celebration and everyone else was keen to join in.
“We started before the big day creating Irish-themed decorations such as clovers, shamrocks and leprechauns in our activity sessions.
“On the day we were joined by lots of friends and relatives for a party. There was lots of Irish music and singing and dancing and everyone had a wonderful time.”
