Whitebourne, has been awarded a rare ‘excellent’ rating by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).
The CSCI process audits a care home against 38 standards, ranging from quality to health and safety, staffing and overall service. CSCI inspectors combine their own on-site observations with documentary evidence and the results of questionnaires from residents’ families, professionals who work with the home and members of staff, to come to their final judgment.
Home manager Ros Stevenson said: “Management, employees and residents at Whitebourne are delighted with the result. To be awarded an excellent from CSCI is great because this rating is rarely given. The result stands testament to the hard work and effort put into quality and service delivery by everyone at this home.”
