Pear Tree Court - care-types

Care types

Pear Tree Court is a modern home providing quality care to older people with a wide range of needs, 24 hours a day, all year round.

We pride ourselves on our passionate approach to personalised care, meaning we’re looking forward to really getting to know your loved one to the best of our ability. Our goal is to make residents feel welcome and for them to enjoy a ‘home for life’ with us. That’s how we’ll be able to make sure we deliver tailored support that treats them as the unique individual they are, down to the smallest detail, addressing their specific needs and preferences.

When choosing a place for your loved one to live, we know it can be a confusing experience. That’s why we’ve prepared the following guide to the types of care we offer.

Dementia care

We’re committed to creating the perfect environment for your loved one living with dementia that helps them to thrive and find fulfilment every day, here in our purpose-built home. Every aspect of life is tailored to supporting them to maintain a sense of identity and independence, from engaging therapeutic activities such as music and art sessions, to events and entertainment designed to aid reminiscence. There’s so much in the way of safe and stimulating experiences for them to choose from.

In their private room full of familiar belongings, they’ll always have a cosy place to retire to at the end of a busy day to relax in or catch up with a favourite television show. We’re here to keep things spick and span, including their laundry, as well as providing discreet personal care such as bathing and dressing if needed. You’ll have complete peace of mind knowing that your loved one’s never far away from a qualified team member, day or night.

Residential care

There’s never a dull moment for residents, with a full roster of events and entertainment every day. Companionship is never far away, with our popular café open for a cup of tea and a friendly chat anytime, and our secure, well-kept gardens with plenty of seating are a great place to explore and get some invigorating fresh air in nature. Art, music and gentle exercise all contribute to emotional and physical wellbeing.

Your loved one will benefit from their own en suite room, furnished to a high standard and kept beautifully clean, where they can indulge in quality ‘me time’ and can be sure of a good night’s rest. We’ll help with personal care where necessary, so they’re always looking and feeling their best - ready for whatever their active lifestyle brings. At no time of the day or night will your loved one be more than a few footsteps away from a qualified team member.
