The Britten Club

Judith Phillips, day club manager

I’ve been with Care UK since 2012 and before that I was a care supervisor in a Norfolk nursing home for a long time.

I’m proud of what we’ve achieved here: our members enjoy coming along and they have a lovely rapport with our team. I regularly assess people at home who have had no stimulation for a long time and are quite withdrawn. Once they start coming along to the day club, they quickly come out of their shell and start to enjoy life again. Seeing that happen is the best feeling.

People now regularly recommend our service to family members and friends in the local area, which is wonderful. I’m looking forward to continuing with our great work, providing important services to the local community.
