The Potteries - care-types

Care types

The Potteries offers state-of-the-art luxury accommodation and compassionate tailored care for your loved one.

Here in our elegant purpose-built home, person-centred care is our top priority, and our team takes all the time necessary to listen to each resident’s life story. Only by learning their preferences, favourite activities and all the little things they enjoy, can we provide the tailored care we are so proud of.

Offering a range of care types, The Potteries, in the beautiful seaside resort of Poole, is designed to provide professional, around the clock care for your loved one.

With a wide variety of events, activities and entertainment designed to aid reminiscence and encourage engagement, our team provides discreet, bespoke care to those living with dementia. Retaining a sense of independence and self-identity is important, and we are on hand to support your loved one in whichever way they wish.

Residential care

Our bright and welcoming home has so much to offer, including a range of on-site facilities, from a coffee shop, luxury hair and beauty salon to a state-of-the-art cinema showing residents’ favourite films. The lifestyle team also organise a wide variety of daily activities, such as art, gentle exercise or gardening, with bingo and singalongs always popular. It’s important to encourage engagement, so previous visitors have included a petting zoo, and residents loved getting close to the owls, ferrets and other small furries - although some drew the line at touching the snakes!

En-suite rooms, with some leading onto our glorious gardens, perfect for a gentle stroll with friends, comfortable lounges and beautiful dining rooms add to the luxury feel of The Potteries.
