Welcome to Tor-Na-Dee

Tor-Na-Dee is a beautiful care home provides a wide variety of care services for older people, from residential and nursing care through to short-term respite and specialist dementia care. We also offer supportive and compassionate palliative and end of life care.

Residents have the freedom to enjoy the shared living spaces, where they are welcome to relax, read or even take part in an activity. Our wonderful gardens are a focal point of the home, with a courtyard, patio, summer house, attractive lawns and a wildlife area. At residents’ request, we even adopted some chickens, which residents help to care for.

Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at Tor-Na-Dee care home.

Our decision to choose Tor Na Dee was based on two main points. Firstly and most importantly, we immediately felt a level of warmth and engagement from all the staff we met on our initial visit. As we were shown around, everyone we met greeted us warmly and my wife, herself a Medical Practitioner, noted that the staff were professional and competent. Secondly, my mother's room was large and well equipped but also managed to retain a level of character and homeliness.

Staff there are exceptionally kind and considerate. They listen to me and my family about my mother's care. I have observed how respectful and caring they are with my mum and other residents.
