At Whitebourne, we offer rewarding, fulfilling careers that are full of opportunity. We support all our team members with innovative training and clear career paths, and you can enjoy working in a friendly, supportive environment where our residents' wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.
Care UK is one of the largest care providers in the UK with over 120 homes. Residents are at the heart of everything we do and so we are offering Cleaners and Housekeeping Assistants the opportunity to make a difference to our resident’s lives whilst undertaking a very important role. This is a chance to work for an industry leader with a holistic and person centred approach to care, and working as part of a close team there is real opportunity to grow and develop your career.
Resident Companions at Care UK come from all walks of life. Some will have worked in factories, supermarkets or schools. Some are returning to work after a break or a relative to a Resident. Many have no, or minimal, experience, but are keen to explore a career in care, while many already have invaluable experience. What they all have in common is the right values. They’re adaptable, friendly, polite and caring. They enjoy working as a team with people from different cultures and backgrounds. And, they consider it a privilege to be trusted to look after others. Do you share their values? Then we could have just the role for you.
If you have a passion for helping others to get the most out of life and some experience gained in a similar role, joining Care UK as a Lifestyle Coordinator may be the right move for you. A rewarding career that comes with great training, you’ll have a real opportunity to develop in our fast paced, expanding business.
Work life balance...Three words that do not often come up in a chef’s vocabulary, yet this is exactly what Care UK is offering. With shifts including every other weekend off this is a great way for a chef to continue working with fresh food, cooked to the highest standards and still have time for family life outside work.
You’re a caring person with a can-do attitude. You already have experience supporting older people, ideally including those with dementia. You’ve got the confidence to lead a care team and act as champion for the safety and dignity of residents. You have a good understanding of care planning with a Level 3 vocational qualification in Health and Social Care (either a diploma or NVQ). To you, caring is more than just a job. It’s a chance to use your compassion and skills – to make a real difference. To help you succeed, we’ll give you excellent support, quality training and fast-track career opportunities.
If you have NVQ Level 3 and proven experience of caring for older people, and are looking for a rewarding role that comes with excellent training and great opportunities for personal development, join Care UK as a Team Leader and make a real difference.
If your proven experience of caring for older people includes leading shifts, and you’re looking for a rewarding role that comes with excellent training and great opportunities for personal development, join Care UK as a Senior Care Assistant and make a real difference.
