Our Whitebourne day club is currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic and we will be reviewing the reopening date of the club in spring 2021.
Currently the day club is helping to support relatives visiting loved ones in our residential care homes.
The Whitebourne Day Club
Our regular day club gives older people who are still living independently in the Frimley area a chance to enjoy activities and make new friends.
The Whitebourne day club runs three days a week from the home and is popular with local families who are caring for an older loved one. It gives older people a refreshing change of scene, while giving family carers a break.
Why choose our day club?
Varied and meaningful activities: The day club team gets to know day club members well and organises activities that are tailored to their hobbies and interests. These can range from cookery sessions to arts and crafts, reminiscence activities to quizzes, gentle exercise to music and singing.
Superb facilities: The Whitebourne day club operates from its own purpose-built building which is fully wheelchair accessible, and there’s an attractive garden with outdoor seating. If your loved one is a keen gardener, they’re welcome to help us keep our outdoor spaces looking great.
Day club members can also use the facilities of the care home. So, they can watch a film or have their hair done in the hair salon – even take part in the home’s regular events.
A hearty meal: We provide a delicious hot main meal and dessert for lunch, and your loved one can choose from two options freshly prepared by our in-house chef. Tea, coffee and freshly baked cakes are available throughout each session.
