Many catering colleagues join us from restaurants or hotels where they’re used to working long hours late into the night. In a care home, you’ll work more sociable hours, and you’ll also have the opportunity to build relationships by getting to know residents and their tastes and preferences. This is a role where you can really make a difference.

A closely-knit team of managers, carers, nurses and support colleagues – and each of us is dedicated to your loved one’s care, health and wellbeing.
I was keen to join Care UK because it is known as one of the best providers of older peoples care. I'd heard about how supportive the organisation was and had actually managed a local residential home. Hadrian Park was our biggest rival, so when a suitable role came up here, I grabbed it with both hands!
I love having a chance to have a chat with the wonderful residents of Hadrian Park. Their lives are incredibly interesting, and each person has a story to tell. I feel extremely privileged to be able to care for them and support them, particularly through the difficult times of the pandemic.
I also feel very privileged to work with such a fantastic team. Each person who works at Hadrian Park is passionate, caring and always puts residents first. Its what makes our care home so special and what enables residents to live fulfilling lives.
Away from work, I unwind by spending time with my family, reading, watching documentaries and enjoying holidays in the sun.
