Our care home in Stratford-upon-Avon opened in October 2013 and is located on the outskirts of this bustling and historic town. Ambleside is just a short bus ride into Stratford-upon-Avon's town centre and its many shops and attractions.

Ambleside is a purpose-built care home with all the latest facilities and a focus on luxurious living. On the ground floor, close to our reception you’ll find a number of unique features. You can catch a film in our cinema or enjoy a slice of cake and a chat in our light and spacious coffee shop. There’s even a contemporary hair salon where a stylist pampers and helps residents to look their best.

Independence is the key

Our care home team is passionate about delivering the very highest quality residential, dementia and nursing care. They get to know every resident – their likes, dislikes and their life stories – and then create a personalised care plan that will enable your loved one to maintain their independence and enjoy activities based on their lifelong hobbies and interests, or even to try something new.

Support for you and your loved one

We appreciate that choosing a care home is one of life’s big decisions, and we want you to be sure that Ambleside is for you. That’s why prospective residents and their families are welcome to meet with members of our team, from the chef to nurses and activity co-ordinators, to help them decide whether Ambleside is the home for them. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure the move is as seamless as possible for you and your loved one.

The other pages on this site help to give you a flavour of our care home. You can learn more about the home, and even how we’ve incorporated specialist design elements into the home to support people living with dementia.

If you’d like to find out more about how we can help you care for your loved one, please give us a call or send us a message. We look forward to welcoming you to Ambleside soon.
