Our team at Brook Court care home in Kidderminster is passionate about supporting residents to make the most of each day.
Our skilled team takes pride in delivering the very highest quality residential, dementia and nursing care. We were delighted to be rated 'good' overall by the CQC at our latest inspection, which even mentioned how much we support each other to do best for residents.
Independence and fun
Living at Brook Court is all about staying independent and doing what you love. When you visit us, you’ll discover an impressive range of hotel-style facilities, from a cinema, to a hair and beauty salon, and a bright and inviting coffee shop – complete with homemade cakes.
"There’s always something going on." This was a quote from a Brook Court resident, included in our latest CQC report, and it’s completely true. Our residents are free to decide how to spend their time. Visit us at any time and you might find residents enjoying a pamper session, a singalong, creating an art wall, or enjoying a visit from some furry animals. We also grow our own tomatoes and make chutney, and we love to get out and about. Recently we joined a circus-themed day at our sister home in Stratford-upon-Avon.
A home from home
Brook Court residents and their families are involved in decision-making about their care and changes to the home. At residents’ request we’ve adopted some pets: Billy the budgie, and a greyhound called Honey.
Every member of staff makes time for ‘tea at three’. It’s a time when all colleagues down tools to chat to residents over tea and cake. We continue to learn so much about each other, and it’s creating some lovely bonds between colleagues and residents.
