Welcome to Collingwood Court

Collingwood Court is a modern, purpose-built care home in Chirton. Our friendly and welcoming team provide personalised residential and respite care including those who are living with dementia.

At Collingwood Court we work hard to ensure our care home feels like a comfortable home-from-home where residents can relax and enjoy doing the things they love. Residents’ bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with en-suite facilities, stylish furniture, a 24-hour care call system and television and telephone connections.

Some of the rooms on our ground floor even open onto our lovely established gardens. Your loved one is also free to personalise their room in any way they choose, to help them feel more at home.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

We are working very hard to ensure that the service we provide is of the highest quality. We are aware that CQC have highlighted we need to make improvements to our service, we have a comprehensive service improvement plan in place to ensure we are acting to make changes that will be sustained and embedded. The staff treat residents as individuals and they genuinely want the best for them. They actively encourage my loved one to use her mind and involve her in the activities that take place within the home on a regular basis. The activities coordinator is brilliant, there is always something going on. The care staff spend time chatting with her, include her in conversations and they have a laugh. They provide professional, competent care with excellent leadership.
