Our stunning, purpose-built new care home on Golf Links Road in Ferndown opened in February 2017.

Ferndown Manor provides the latest in luxury living for older people, combined with a wide range of quality round-the-clock care services. Our dedicated and passionate care team delivers residential and nursing care through to short-term respite care and specialist care for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We also provide sensitive palliative and end of life care.

Care tailored to your loved one

Living in a Care UK care home should be as enjoyable as living in your own home. The only difference should be that expert care is on hand 24-hours a day, seven days a week. When your loved one joins us, we take time to get to know them so that we can develop a care and activity plan that is entirely tailored to their unique needs and interests. Our chef-led catering team will also ensure that individual preferences are factored into their menu plans. We appreciate that your loved one’s needs may change over time, so all of these plans are regularly reviewed and adapted, making sure that they are always comfortable.

Keeping active and enjoying each day

Keeping active and engaged in everyday life is vital as we get older as it enables us to maintain our independence, so we work hard to ensure that residents can lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Our lifestyle team ensure that there are planned group and one-to-one activities each day and that residents are able to continue doing routine tasks if they wish to, such as watering plants, gardening or laying the table for dinner. Comfort and care

Ferndown Manor care home has been designed first and foremost with residents’ comfort in mind. Each bedroom has its own en-suite facilities, and the home itself has beautifully furnished lounge and dining areas, as well as activity spaces and quiet areas to relax in. The home also has its own hair salon, coffee shop and cinema, so your loved one can make the most out of each day, whatever the Dorset weather is doing outside. What’s more, visitors are welcome to visit at any time of the day or night. Ferndown Manor is home for residents, so we don’t believe that it’s our place to say when people should visit. Want to join in with activities, or enjoy a meal with your loved one? We’d love you to stay as long as you like and get involved.  Find out more about the home
