This beautiful, spacious and purpose-built care home, which opened in March 2013, has a wealth of luxury features, designed to create a lively, family atmosphere and to enable residents to get the most out of every day. Our facilities include a hair and nail salon, a luxurious retro-themed cinema – with a cinema club that the residents run themselves – plus a coffee shop, Cherries, which is a popular spot for socialising with friends and family. Lounges, dining rooms and comfortable sitting areas throughout the care home also add to the ‘five star’ feel.

Foxbridge House care home provides a wide range of care options to suit different needs. We provide residential and nursing care, as well as short respite care. This is ideal for giving family carers a well-earned break. Their older loved one also enjoys a change of scene in stunning surroundings in the 24-hour care of our dedicated team.

The best in dementia care

Our experienced care home team are also experts in caring for older people living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. They undertake special experiential dementia training, developed by Care UK’s own in-house dementia experts, giving them invaluable insights into what life is like for people living with this condition.

Many Foxbridge House residents have lived in Orpington and the surrounding area all their life. We get to know them so they quickly feel at home. We get to know their physical needs, likes and dislikes, life stories, personality, hobbies and interests, so that they come to feel like a member of our own family; we then design a care plan that’s entirely tailored to them.

Everything we do at the home, from the care we provide, through to the activities we plan, and even the meals our catering team prepares, is tailored to residents. That way they receive a wonderful experience that’s as individual as they are.

Independence is the key

Our commitment to Activity Based Care helps our care home’s residents to stay active, engaged and feel a sense of independence. They’re welcome to take part in the day-to-day life of Foxbridge House in any way they wish. That might mean doing some gardening, watering some plants around the care home, or making a cup of tea. There’s always a choice of exciting activities to get involved in too, from quizzes and gentle exercise, to trips out where we explore and discover more of Orpington. Residents at Foxbridge House also enjoy movie afternoons and visits from local groups, volunteers and schoolchildren.
