Residents at Care UK’s The Potteries, on York Road were joined by the local community to commemorate three years of providing expert care to older people in Poole.
Visitors to the care home enjoyed party food and a special cake made by the head chef at the Potteries, Sarah Beaumont, while live music from Lucia helped get everyone in the party spirit.
Zita Turner, home manager at The Potteries, said: “We were all incredibly excited to mark our third year anniversary. The day was a wonderful opportunity for residents to celebrate the warm, friendly community we have created here at The Potteries.
“The last three years have really flown by and we want to say a big thank you to the local community, residents, and their family and friends, as well as the brilliant care team which provide the best possible care all year round.”
The Potteries is a state-of-the-art care home which provides full time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short term respite care. Designed to enable residents to live enjoyable and fulfilling lives, the care home has its very own cinema and hairdressers, and there is plenty of space both indoors and out for relaxation and recreation.
