Mountfitchet House opened its doors in October 2014, delivering round-the-clock residential, nursing care and specialised care to older people living in the local and surrounding areas.

Located on the outskirts of Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex, the home is just a few miles from the Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire border. This purpose built care home provides a range of care services on the same site, so your loved one can  be assured of the same consistent and quality care if their needs change.

The 60-bed home, built and managed by Care UK, offers tailored care provision.  In addition to nursing and residential care, Mountfitchet House also provides specialist care for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia and short-term respite care. Sensitive and quality palliative end of life care is also available.

Care homes designed with residents in mind

Mountfitchet House is just one of many modern, purpose-built care homes Care UK has built across the UK. Each has been designed to enhance residents’ lives and all will provide top-quality care in modern, luxurious surroundings.

After more than 30 years of caring for older people we know and understand their needs and requirements. Our homes are operated by highly qualified and caring professionals who are focused on ensuring your loved one continues to lead a fulfilling and enjoyable life.

We have a very individual approach at Care UK and we spend time getting to know our residents and their families. When we know what their physical needs are, likes and dislikes, hobbies, life stories and interests we design a care plan that’s tailored to their unique needs and requirements.
