The team at Prince George House is focused on enabling your loved one to enjoy a fulfilling life.
Whether your loved one joins us for permanent or respite residential, nursing or dementia care, we find out all we can about them - with your help and theirs. We want to know the smallest of details, so we can support them to live each day in the way they choose. We also involve you and your loved one in planning and reviewing their care, so we're always meeting their needs.
A home that listens
We have regular meetings with residents and families to ensure that all aspects of the home and the care we provide reflects people’s wishes, from the food we provide to the activities we organise.
We run many different activities, from therapy dog visits to gardening, visiting entertainers, quizzes and outings. Some residents help around the home and enjoy the sense of achievement this brings, whether it's folding laundry, peeling vegetables or doing some dusting. We also have free visiting, so friends and family can pop in at any time to visit a loved one.
Enjoy a luxurious lifestyle
Prince George House has an array of facilities, including a café with freshly baked cakes, to a hair and beauty salon, a cinema room and even a small shop (a result of feedback from a residents' meeting). Each of the home’s 80 bedrooms is furnished to the highest standards and has en-suite facilities. Many ground floor rooms have direct access to our secure, landscaped gardens.
