Set to open in February 2015, Prince George House will deliver residential and nursing care for older people.

Residents from Crabbe Street and Sidegate Lane care homes who choose to move to Prince George House, will be moving into the new purpose-built care home during February and March 2015. This will ensure residents have plenty of time to settle in and get used to their new surroundings.

A day club will also open on the same site in the Spring, which will offer day care and respite facilities for local people who live independently in their own homes.

The team will also provide the very best in dementia care for older people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. First and foremost, when a new resident joins us, our team will get to know them – and the rest of your family – extremely well. We want to give them care that’s as individual as they are and we can only do that by discovering everything we can about their life stories, hobbies, previous jobs, and even their favourite foods or TV programmes.

Supporting all of you

Choosing a care home for an older family member is a huge challenge, so we will do everything in our power to support you and your loved one, from the first time you look around the care home, to your loved one moving in, and throughout their time with us. Think of Prince George House as your second home where you’re free to visit at any time of the day or night.
