Skylark House, our new modern purpose-built care home in Horsham, West Sussex, opened its doors in late 2016.

If you’re looking for a beautiful new care home in Horsham for an older loved one, Skylark House offers an impressive range of round-the-clock, personalised care services to cater for their unique needs.

The team at our 82-bed home on St Marks Lane in Horsham has the skills and experience to deliver the very best in nursing and short term respite care as well as specialist care for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

A unique and personal approach

With expert clinical and care teams, Skylark House also offers rehabilitation care. If your loved one has had a stay in hospital and needs some extra care and support before they return home, we are here to help. Our permanent teams are supported by numerous visiting specialists, from district nurses to Macmillan nurses, psychiatrists to physiotherapists.

Every aspect of your loved one’s care is tailored to their exact needs, interests and preferences. We believe in taking the time to get to know every resident so we can completely understand what will make them happy and comfortable. We’ll learn about what your loved one enjoys doing and how they like to spend their day. We want to know about their past and their hopes for the future. Then we create care plans, organise activities and even plan menus that are uniquely suited to them.

Leading active, healthy lives

Like all the teams in Care UK care homes, we’re passionate about helping residents to enjoy every day. That means keeping active and independent and contributing to the life of the home in whatever way that suits them. That might mean watering plants, preparing veg for lunch or simply enjoying the fun and varied activities we plan every day.

You can find out more about what we’ll be doing on our daily life page. There’s plenty more to discover about the home.
