Hear from Suffolk Regional Director, Jennifer Rodger about working in the region

"In Suffolk/Norfolk we have many exciting opportunities for those of you who want a rewarding job role in the Care sector and who want to make a positive difference in the lives of the residents who live in our homes.

As a region we are a diverse team with a true family ethos. We embrace Care UK values of caring, teamwork and passion in everything we do. You will have the opportunity to learn, grow and develop as many of our colleagues have within their own home teams and the wider region.

We feel passionate about the wellbeing of our residents and our colleagues and share good practice and lessons learnt as well as having lots of fun on the way.

So if you are wanting every day to be a different day filled with love and laughter, our work family will be your work family."

Meet Kayleigh

Kayleigh began her Care UK journey joining as an apprentice and has worked her way up to becoming a Team Leader gaining qualifications on the way.

Internal progression

“I started my journey in care UK when I was sixteen and began an apprenticeship  which I was grateful for all the support and funding I was fortunate enough to receive. I then went on to complete my level 3 diploma with the support of my fellow colleagues and managers which has helped me in my current role as team leader and knowledge in certain areas. I specifically enjoy the end of life aspect of my job role as I feel like it’s very rewarding to be able to provide comfort, support and dignity to those who are in their last days of their life and feel like I am able to make a difference to those who are in a vulnerable time. I feel like I have come a long way in my career and am excited to see what the future holds for me”

2025 So Far!

With 2025 well underway, our Suffolk care homes have been a hub of activity as always.

- A new years eve firework show was held within our Cavell Court Care Home for our residents and staff to enjoy.

- Mills Meadow Care Home enjoyed spending time with some local wildlife.

Alongside the outstanding care we provide our residents, we take great pride in being a fantastic place to work.

The Suffolk region is a hub of internal promotion. Whether that be progression into a different role or development within a role. As a region, we pride ourselves on self development and there is always room to grow.
