Meet Georgina Stocker, South Coast Regional Director

In our South Coast care homes, we offer a range of exciting opportunities for those seeking a rewarding career in the care sector, where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives to our residents.

Our region is known for its diverse and close-knit team who live by Care UK's core values of caring, teamwork, and passion in everything we do. You'll have plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and develop, just as many of our Colleagues and Home Managers have done across the region.

If you’re looking for a role where every day brings new experiences filled with love and laughter, a career in the South Coast region is for you.

Meet Karen Seabrook, Operations Director

"Care UK is a fantastic place to work, with a real sense of purpose and a team of people who genuinely care about what they do. What makes it so special is the support and encouragement to grow – whether you’re just starting out or looking to take the next step in your career, there are so many opportunities to learn, develop and progress. I’ve seen first-hand how colleagues are nurtured and empowered to achieve their goals, and it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of an organisation that invests so much in its people."

Life in our South Coast homes

Alongside the fantastic care that we provide in South Coast care homes, we have a range of engaging activities/events to bring the region together. From singers and magicians to annual barbecues, there is always something going on within the region.

We also have a Chef of the year competition where residents and staff judge the food and ultimately decide the chef of the year. Our catering experience is something we are incredibly proud of as a region and take great pride in. We are lucky to have some fantastic chefs who produce excellent locally sourced meals for our residents.

In addition to all we offer our residents, the South Coast region is a hub of internal promotion. Whether that be progression into a different role or development within a role. As a region, we pride ourselves on self development and there is always room to grow.

Internal progression

"I began my journey with Care UK as a Senior Care Assistant, before progressing to Team Leader and then Unit Manager. I was proud to step into the role of Deputy Manager, and more recently I became a Home Manager after completing Care UK’s bespoke Future Home Manager programme.

Care UK has given me fantastic development opportunities, continuous support, and a positive working environment that has allowed me to grow and thrive. It is a wonderful organisation to be part of, where colleagues are supported and residents are always at the heart of what we do."
