I started working for Care UK in 2013 and I left after seven years progressing from working as a nurse to a Deputy Manager. I returned in April 2021 as the Home Manager.
Prior to joining Care UK I worked as a nurse and I also served in the Army for 19 years where I first completed my training.
To do well as a Home Manager you need to be caring, understanding, approachable, a good listener, organiser, and communicator.
My favourite part of my job is talking to the residents and seeing them smile and being content in the home and seeing that my staff are happy in their working day.
My biggest career highlight to date has been passing my conversion course to qualify as a Registered General Nurse.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching football and I support Tottenham for my sins. I also enjoy socialising with friends and family at the pub or in a restaurant and travelling abroad.Anthony Densley Home Manager
