Accounts Payable Controller

12-month fixed term contract

The role: The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the provision of an efficient and accurate Cashiering function in a robust control environment whilst providing support to colleagues in the team to ensure that operational processes and procedures are being followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Accounts Payable (AP) ledger maintenance
• To support with answering AP supplier queries by phone and email
• Responsible for monthly statement reconciliations as allocated by Accounts Payable and Cashiering Manager
• To support with resolution of debit balances and invoice queries
• Successful weekly payment runs
• Adhere to effective response times for suppliers and internal colleagues
• Resolution of aged unpaid issues on the AP ledger
• Contribute to any process improvements within the AP area.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in an administrative role ideally within a finance team
• Excellent data management skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Ability to pick up and learn the company’s financial system
