Are you looking for an exciting new role within our busy Immigration team. Care UK is an awarding winning private care company with over 260 care homes across the United Kingdom.  We are seeking an enthusiastic detail driven Immigration Co-ordinator to join our  dedicated team.

The Role: 

As an Immigration Co-Ordinator you work closely with the Immigration Lead to manage colleagues with visa restrictions, providing guidance and support to ensure full compliance with immigration requirements for Skilled Worker and Student visa holders across all homes. You will also assist with training our homes on all aspects of Immigration Restrictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an immigration mailbox
  • Maintain accurate records within a Smartsheet 
  • Conduct weekly reviews of potential compliance breaches, allowing for timely investigation and resolution, while also identifying broader risks relating to sponsored colleagues (e.g. pay compliance).
  • Perform monthly audits of Smartsheet’s 
  • Review the Register of Licensed Sponsors monthly for colleagues undertaking supplementary employment
  • Monitor and manage reporting notifications within the team’s communication channels, ensuring timely awareness and follow-up of key updates or issues.
  • Ensure knowledge of Immigration changes is maintained.
  • Assist with the generation relevant reports and analysis as and when requested.
  • Deputise for Immigration Lead to cover absence.

What We're Looking For:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Strong analytical skills with big data sets. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand a task as well as perform it
  • Commercially astute and able to review results systematically and analytically
  • Ability to demonstrate an exceptional standard of numeracy and literacy
  • Excellent communicator with ability to communicate effectively at all levels; ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of personalities
  • Ability to demonstrate planning skills to manage time effectively and to meet objectives and deadlines; Able to manage several tasks at any one time
