The role: To take full ownership of the post-offer onboarding and compliance administration process for candidates within your designated business area, ensuring all pre-employment checks and personnel records are completed accurately and meet regulatory and organisational compliance standards prior to start date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of creating and maintaining personnel files for all new hires within your business area, ensuring they are fully compliant before each individual’s start date
  • Manage the criminal record check process for new employees, ensuring checks are completed efficiently and in line with compliance requirements
  • Prepare and issue offer letters, contracts, and onboarding packs in a timely and accurate manner
  • Liaise with Occupational Health providers to track candidate progress and ensure medical clearances are completed where required
  • Obtain and verify employment references, proactively following up to ensure all checks are completed promptly
  • Carry out candidate due diligence checks, including online research, to support safe recruitment practices
  • Maintain and update recruitment trackers, systems, and the ATS to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activity
  • Conduct audits of recruitment files across homes, identifying any areas of non-compliance and providing clear feedback and guidance for improvement
  • Provide support and guidance to homes on right to work checks and Care UK recruitment policies
  • Assist the wider Recruitment team with administrative tasks, reporting, and general support as needed
  • Handle all personal data with a high level of confidentiality, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience of working in a recruitment administration role with an understanding of the post offer administration process.
  • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels and demonstrate the highest degree of integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience of working to deadlines and managing multiple priorities at any one time
