A closely-knit team of managers, carers, nurses and support colleagues – and each of us is dedicated to your loved one’s care, health and wellbeing.
I’m a registered mental health nurse, and I joined Paisley Court to experience working in a care home that specialises in advanced dementia and complex care needs – eight years later, I’m still here and I love what I do.
I started my career in care as a domestic many, many years ago and worked my way up to manager. I started in Paisley as a nurse, then moved up to Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager and now Home Manager.
As a Home Manager, you need to be patient, understanding and have empathy and a sense of humour. Leading my amazing team makes me proud in my role at Paisley Court. Every single person plays an important role in our team.
I like to get in early each day to speak to the night staff, greet the day staff and watch the home wake up. I’m passionate about getting to know the residents, relatives and team members at Paisley Court individually.
When I’m not working, I like swimming, reading and walking in North Wales with my partner.
