About Care UK

We run over 120 homes and day clubs across the UK, providing residential, nursing, dementia and end-of-life care for older people. Our commitment to supporting every team member’s personal development means we can offer you exciting opportunities to progress quickly in your nursing career.

In addition to the residential and nursing suites at Riverside, we have a younger persons unit which is the only one in the Tameside area. Riverside provides general nursing for residents between the ages of 18-65 and look after a range of residents from full time to rehabilitation to enable them to return home.

The dementia nursing unit has a whole home approach and is committed to enabling residents to be as independent as possible; we have a rabbit “Benny” that our residents help to take care of.
