Many catering colleagues join us from restaurants or hotels where they’re used to working long hours late into the night. A closely-knit team of managers, carers, nurses and support colleagues – and each of us is dedicated to your loved one’s care, health and wellbeing.
I have thirteen years of experience in the care industry, and I love being a part of the Care UK team as I share the organisation’s values and the passion to deliver outstanding, person-centred care to all residents.
Working as a General Manager at Blossomfield Grange, I always ensure that the teams in different areas of the home work collaboratively and efficiently together, and that would involve seamless communication between us and residents or family members. My favourite part of the day is my daily walk rounds, where I get the chance to see residents, family members, and observe colleagues as they carry out their day-to-day activities. It’s a great opportunity to check in with my colleagues and ask how they are.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching football, cricket, and I go to my local gym to keep myself fit.
