I have 20 years of experience in the care industry, most recently working as a manager for a large domiciliary and complex care agency. I joined Care UK for the opportunities it would open as one of the UK’s leading care providers.
As a manager, I think the most important part of my role is listening. It's also essential to be empathetic, and to have a good sense of humour.
Any time I can spend talking to residents and my team is my favourite part of the day. Seeing residents and their families happy makes me feel fulfilled in my role.
When I’m not working, I enjoy singing and walking my dalmatian.
