At Care UK's Montfort Manor in Ashford, Kent, providing the highest standard of care for residents is at the heart of what we do. As part of our friendly team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your career and the support to go far.
Our team works in a purpose-built care home with a family atmosphere. We provide specialist dementia care and expert nursing dementia care with fantastic facilities for residents, including a cinema, cafe and hair salon, as well as beautiful landscaped gardens.
We truly believe that every one of us makes a difference. If you're a passionate, caring individual who works well in a team, consider a rewarding career at Montfort Manor.
Join our team and you'll have the chance to get creative in the kitchen while cooking up nutritious, well-balanced meals that have a direct impact on residents’ health and wellbeing.
Many catering colleagues join us from restaurants or hotels where they’re used to working long hours late into the night. In a care home, you’ll work more sociable hours, and you’ll also have the opportunity to build relationships by getting to know residents and their tastes and preferences. This is a role where you can really make a difference.

A closely-knit team of managers, carers, nurses and support colleagues – and each of us is dedicated to your loved one’s care, health and wellbeing.
I joined Care UK in 2022 having known the company to have a very good reputation for providing high quality care, and putting residents and their needs first. Care UK to me is about quality both for residents and families as well as colleagues.
I have been working as a Home Manager in care homes for the past 8 years, a role which requires good communication skills, compassion, empathy, whilst being able to multitask.
I was a finalist in the Care Home Manager Awards in 2020. Although I didn’t win, it was an honour to have been nominated and picked to be a finalist.
My favourite part of each day is walking around the home, making sure residents are happy and safe. There is always someone to have a chat with.
There is nothing that I enjoy more than working in a good team for the best interests of the residents, helping them to be happy and enjoy their twilight years.
