I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years, with the last 11 spent here at Magdalen Park. During that time, I’ve been fortunate to take on a variety of leadership roles, and I was proud to become Home Manager. I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care and I’m passionate about ensuring residents receive the very best standards of care.
I believe strongly in Care UK’s ethos of delivering outstanding care. As a manager, I lead with clear values and focus on supporting my team to grow their skills and confidence. By empowering colleagues, I know we can create the best possible outcomes for residents.
My favourite part of the day is greeting residents and colleagues each morning, followed by regular walks around the home so I can chat to everyone. I’m proud of the strong relationships I have with residents, families, colleagues and the wider community, and I always aim to lead with compassion and understanding, especially in challenging times.
Outside of work, I enjoy family time, long walks with my dog, and staying fit. I am passionate about fitness and love challenging myself, especially when it helps raise money for charities.
